About Ethnofilmmakers
Ethnofilmmakers is a site who’s focus is anthropology, ethnography, and cinematography. We explore ways in which anthropology may be pursued by means of visual techniques and cinematography, and in combining its primary methodology, ethnography, with the art and science of video and film to conduct exploration into new forms and methods for ethnographic fieldwork. Also, we are interested in excavating historical events otherwise overlooked from mainstream historical documentation and in communicating these stories across cultural boundaries.
Our work consists of filming theatrical productions, cultural celebrations, festivals, commemorations, music events, research studies, focus groups, interviews, and commercials.
